Adeeb Alblooshi

Known as The Youngest Emirati Scientist,  At 15-years-old, Adeeb Alblooshi is one of the UAE’s most recognised inventors. His mission to improve people’s lives through innovation started at the young age of 9, when he invented a light-weight prosthetic for his father and a tiny cleaning robot for his mother.

He is one of the youngest inventors in the world and has won numerous awards and honours, including the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance.

In 2015, Arabian Business included him in their ‘100 Most Powerful Arabs Under 40’ list; in 2017, the magazine listed him among the ‘100 Smartest People in the UAE’; and in 2019, Arabian Business named him in ‘DXB 100: Influential People Helping Shape the Emirate’. He also has to his credit eleven certificates and two gold medals awarded by NASA.

Dana Alblooshi

Dana Alblooshi is a thirteen-year-old Emirati author and innovator who is passionate about space, women’s issues, and being a role model for young girls.

At the age of nine, she was the youngest Emirati to undergo training courses at NASA, receiving nine certificates in space engineering.

Alblooshi was also honoured by several institutions including Beirut Institute and the University of Manchester, among others, for her accomplishments.

Dr Ayaz Bhuta MBE

Ayaz Mazeed Bhuta MBE (born 17 April 1989) is a British Paralympic wheelchair rugby player and a former wheelchair basketball player who currently plays for the Great Britain national wheelchair rugby team.  He has represented Great Britain at the Paralympics in 2016 and 2020.

Ayaz was born with a rare genetic disorder called Roberts Syndrome which affects the growth of bones in arms and legs. He studied at Mount St Joseph School.

He initially played wheelchair basketball but later switched to wheelchair rugby in 2009. He began playing club rugby in 2009 and was subsequently selected to the national team in 2010 for a tri-nation series in Australia. However, after playing in the tri nation tournament in Australia he was axed from the team due to his size. He later worked on his fitness levels and was picked for GBWR Development Squad in 2011. He made his comeback return to the Great Britain team after the end of the 2012 Summer Paralympics.

He made his Paralympic debut representing Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Paralympics and was part of the national wheelchair team which finished at fifth position in the team competition. He was also a key member of the team which won the European Wheelchair Championships in 2015 and 2017.

He won a gold medal with the Great Britain team at the 2020 Summer Paralympics the first time the country had won a medal of any colour in the sport at the Paralympic Games.

Bhuta was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2022 New Year Honours for services to wheelchair rugby.

Dr Emee Vida Estacio

EMEE VIDA ESTACIO is a chartered psychologist with over 20 years’ experience in health, community, and positive psychology.  She is also an author, speaker, life transformation and health promotion specialist. Her passion is to help people embrace their true worth, so they can live happy and fulfilling lives.

Originally from the Philippines, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (magna cum laude) from the University of the Philippines, Diliman and her MSc and PhD in Health Psychology at City University London. She previously held positions at the University of East London and Keele University. Emee specialises in health promotion and community development and has facilitated action research projects in some of the most deprived areas in the UK and in the Philippines.

Throughout her academic, coaching, and research career, she has worked closely with individuals and communities to unlock their full potential using simple and easy to apply methods for limitless success in life.

As a scholar activist, she became actively involved in supporting activities for Oxfam, the Association for International Cancer Research, CRIBS Philippines and Save the Children UK.

Emee is also the author of the #1 best-selling book “Psychology in Your Life” Book Series (2019), including titles such as “The Imposter Syndrome Remedy”, “Change Your Life for Good”, and “Fear is Not My Enemy”.
